SURREY Chargers, Chobham RFC’s mixed-ability section, travelled to Walcot for the Bath outfit’s second annual Mixed Ability Cup.

The Chargers, who travelled a few players short but were able to borrow from other clubs, lost 20-0 to Worcester and 3-0 to Walcot.

Mike O’Regan, the Chargers’ coach, said: “The defeats meant that the team took no further part in the competition but were able to enjoy some of the excellent hospitality on offer as well as help out Walcot in their semi-final. All in all, a great day was had by everyone.”
