MIDFIELDER Matt Robinson has agreed to return to Woking next month – on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old, who played on loan for the Cards during the 2015-16 season, will officially return to the club on July 1, from Dagenham & Redbridge, where he was captain.

Robinson turned out for Luton Town in League Two and made 251 appearances for the Daggers.

Woking boss Darren Sarll said: “He’s a very efficient, forward-thinking midfield player who, at his best, can provide real assistance in the goalscoring charts, with good timing of his runs in and around the box. This is a big signing for us.”

The move is subject to FA approval.
