A Woking man is to stand trial after pleading not guilty to assaulting an emergency worker.

Benjamin Spicer, 34, of Woodhatch Grove, Rydens Way, was charged with beating a police constable after an incident in Woking on June 1, 2022.

He pleaded not guilty in October last year and appeared at Guildford Crown Court on March 6 for a trial preparation hearing.

A three-day trial will begin at the same court on April 1.
