The Whitehill & Bordon Community Party’s two East Hampshire District Council cabinet members, Cllrs Andy Tree and Adeel Shah, had their first briefing on May 25.

Cllr Tree also met with council leader Cllr Richard Millard and senior staff including chief executive Gill Kneller.

He said: “I was impressed by how quickly our ideas are being worked into policy proposals by chief operating officer Simon Jenkins, and more will follow on this.

"I cannot wait to publish the policies we have negotiated, once the officers have had fair opportunity to work them into an action plan.”
