Victoria Place is inviting families to get into the spirit of Halloween and enjoy some free half-term fun.
On Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29, from 11am to 4pm, little horrors can enjoy free pumpkin carving in the Peacocks Centre food court. They will be able to take their pumpkin home to scare away all the gruesome ghouls!
McDonald’s will also have fearsome face painters on hand to provide terrifying transformations.
Until October 29, Victoria Place will also have a swap-shop clothes rail in the food court.
Visitors are encouraged to dig out their old Halloween costume and exchange it for something new on the clothes rail, just in time for an even scarier trick or treat this Halloween.
Plus, for those brave enough, families can meet the walkabout pumpkins roaming around the centre on Sunday, October 29 at intervals between 11am and 4pm.
If this is not enough, join in with Woking Borough Council’s spooktacular activities in Victoria Square from October 21 to 31, from 10am to 6pm daily. From Halloween storytelling to spooky rides, there will be something for everyone.
John-Paul Jackson, centre manager of Victoria Place, said: “We’re excited to welcome families to enjoy some free Halloween fun.
“From pumpkin carving and face painting to walkabout pumpkins, there’s lots going on at Victoria Place this half-term, to make any visit even more memorable.”
