TWO teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of arson following a blaze at a children’s nursery and community centre in the Goldsworth Park area of Woking.
The fire at the Toad Hall nursery in Wishbone Way caused considerable damage to the childrens' facility at Goldwater Lodge. The incident happened between 3am and 3.36am yesterday (Sunday, December 2).
The two 19-year-olds are currently on bail pending investigation and are due back on January 11.
Surrey Police are investigating the suspicious fire and officers are appealing for anyone with information to contact 101 quoting reference WK/12/7302.
The Safer Neighbourhood Team will be increasing reassurance patrols in the area and members of the public are welcome to speak with officers.
