CHURCHES across the nation will ‘Ring for the King’ on the day of the Coronation, and ringers at St Peter’s Church in Old Woking will be part of that occasion on 6 May.

If you would like to know more about bellringing, there is a free taster session this Saturday at the 12th century church in Church Street.

As well as a demonstration, there will be an opportunity to have a go on the tower’s bells and handbells, from 10am to noon.
