MEMBERS of Woking Royal Naval Association have presented a shield to the landlord and landlady of the Hare and Hounds at West End, to thank them for the excellent service they have given to the branch over the years.

The shield was received at the pub in Brentmoor Road by Ron and Kay Major.

The association regularly meets and dines at the Hare and Hounds and held its 40th anniversary celebration there in May, with the-then Woking mayor and mayoress, Saj Hussain and Faaira Sahi, as guests.
