IF you’re interested in electronics, enjoy building things and have good attention to detail, McLaren Applied is looking for people to join the team based at their Woking technology centre.

“We have a number of roles available in our Production department and we’re looking for people with and without electronics experience and qualifications,” said a company spokesperson.

“As an industry leading supplier, we’re looking for bright, interested people who take pride in their work to join our job-focused team and deliver world-class products to the highest levels of motorsport across the world – building, soldering and testing our industry-renowned motorsport products in the McLaren Technology Centre – which go out to Formula 1 and other top level motorsport customers.

“We are holding an open day on Wednesday 31 May in our Victoria Gate office from 10am to 5pm to meet and get to know potential employees. Our employees come from a range of backgrounds here at McLaren Applied, depending on the requirements of their role, and not everyone is a graduate or needs a degree. We want to meet people with knowledge of and interest in electronics, with a high level of attention to detail.”  

The company will have current employees and its recruitment team at the open day to answer questions and show what happens within the Production department.
