A LOVELY French bulldog called Bella is looking for her forever home.
The three-year-old is living at RSPCA Millbrook in Chobham while she searches for her new family.
Millbrook’s Debbie Pearce said: “Lovely little Bella came to us after spending some time at one of the RSPCA’s hospitals receiving treatment, and she is now ready to find her forever home.
“Bella adores a fuss and a cuddle. She would love a home where there is someone around most of the day to help her settle and give her all the attention she deserves.
“She really enjoys having a roll around on the sofa and some good scratches.
“Bella can sometimes get overexcited – that is typical French bulldog behaviour.
“When out on her walks, she can be vocal towards other dogs, but it all stems from excitement. We are helping her to try to contain herself.
“She will say hello to other dogs, and loves a little play too, but would ultimately like to be the only dog in her home so she is spoilt rotten.
“Bella would like her own enclosed garden for off-lead play.
“She cannot live with cats but could live with children aged 12 years and over.
“Bella will need a home that has experience of owning brachycephalic breeds, as experienced owners will know about her requirements and medical issues.
“For example, Bella will need regular fold cleaning.
“Bella had very bad and sore ears when she came to us.
“Her ears are a lot better now. However, she requires weekly ear cleaning.
“She has become used to it and is a very good girl when having her ears cleaned.
“Bella may be prone to future ear infections and will need veterinary treatment for this.
“She must have owners who can afford to cover all veterinary costs.
“Pet insurance will not cover any pre-existing conditions.”
If you are interested in providing a home for Bella, visit www.rspca-millbrook.org.uk to complete an application form which will be emailed automatically to Millbrook.
Remember, though, that application does not guarantee adoption.
