A MAN from West End has been fined £900 and banned from driving for 28 days after breaking the 50mph speed limit on St Peter’s Way, Chertsey.
Christopher Holehouse, 71, of 9A Birch Lane, admitted the offence when he appeared at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on Friday 6 January.
The illegal speed was recorded when he was driving his BMW along the road on 28 August 2021, the court was told.
Holehouse was also ordered to pay a victims fund surcharge of £90 and costs of £110.
