A CHARITY yoga class is being run in Horsell next Wednesday to raise money for LinkAble.
Teacher Shweta Marwaha is holding the class, to mark International Yoga Day (21 June), at Horsell Village Hall from 7.30pm to 8:30pm.
LinkAble supports children and adults with learning disabilities in Woking and Surrey.
“I’ve chosen LinkAble charity as it was suggested by my younger son when I mentioned about which charity to go for this year,” Shweta said. “The charity helped his friend’s brother quite a bit.
“I’ve previously supported the likes of Shooting Star, Eikon, Woking Hospice, NHS, Go Dharmic, The Fountain Centre and Mind in this way. All the proceeds from the class will go to the charity.
“It’s a mixed ability class suitable for all, so beginners are welcome.
“The class will help the participants to connect deep within while working on the physical body. They will leave relax and rejuvenated.”
Booking is required as space is limited to between 25 and 30 people. Spaces can be reserved by emailing [email protected] with a £10 or more donation to join the class. All proceeds go to charity.
